Sambar, which originated in the south, is a very popular dish in all over India, and in many parts of the world. And, believe it or not, sambar is made in a variety of ways and what you thought was just a pure vegetarian dish has its own mutton and prawn versions. This sambar powder can handle all the varieties. Try them!

INGREDIENTS
Coriander Seed, Red Chili, Black-gram, Chick-pea, Pigeon-pea, Fenugreek Seed, Mustard Seed, Black Pepper, Curry Leaf Powder, Turmeric Powder, Cumin Seed, and Asafetida.

USAGE

Typically, 2 leveled teaspoon in ¼ kg of main ingredient or as required by the recipe.

EXPIRY

Best Before: 12 months from date of packaging.
Use Before: 18 months from date of packaging.

Red Chili, Coriander Seed, Coconut, Fennel Seed, Stone Flower (dagad-phul), Cassava-starch, Cumin Seed, Cassia-bark (taj), Sichuan Pepper (chirphal), Star Anise, Cassia-bud (nagkesar), Black Seed, Fenugreek Seed, Mustard Seed, Sesame Seed, Black Cardamom, Clove, Nutmeg, Cashew-nut, and Asafetida (hing).

Contains: Coconut, Cashew, Sesame Seed & Compounded Asafetida (which may contain wheat).

Storage

KEEP SPICES FRESH LONGER

(This product is packed in PET jar with tight lid)

  • Store the container in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight.
  • Use only dry spoons (or fingers).
  • Keep lid tightly closed after use.
  • PET jars should not be exposed to temperatures over 65° C.
